ELPAIS.com, the digital edition of Spain's recognized
newspaper EL PAÍS, is the best known electronic news site in Europe.
Founded on May 4th 1996, the digital edition of the leading Spanish daily
provides open access to the best news, continuously updated and accompanied
by analysis, dossiers, multimedia files, and high-quality interactive graphics
that have won numerous awards.
The subscriber area offers services such as high-quality television and
radio, teletype, the complete print edition, advance content from supplements,
and other value-added content. The subscription model is based on two
categories: an annual subscription of 80€ and a semi-annual one of
50€, being the euro change in dollars 1€ = 1$.
Foreign readers can subscribe with their credit card or through a bank
account only if they have one opened in Spain. Subscribers have access
to the whole website, including the EL PAÍS archives since the
foundation of the newspaper, May 4th 1976.
